About Us

         Our Vision

Ruby's Pet Treats was formed to help underprivileged children and pets. A percentage of every purchase will go to Jimmy Wayne's Project Meet Me Halfway and The Humane Society of Genesee County.  Our hope is that customers will be so satisfied with our products that they will come back time and again for their pet treats and help fund the continuous needs of both charities.

            Our Mission

To help people feel good by knowing that a portion of every purchase they make from Ruby's Pet Treats will help fund two very worthwhile projects.

            Our History

In the fall of 2008, country music singer Jimmy Wayne performed at a private party for a farm and garden distribution company.  After the show he met 3 guys who sell pet treats for a living, the guys from Cost Less Pet Treats.  The dog bone guys became big fans of Jimmy's music, and a friendship developed.  Little did anyone know that 5 years later they would join together to form a company that would help two very worthwhile causes- Jimmy Wayne's Project Meet Me Halfway, and The Humane Society of Genesee County in Michigan.

Jimmy Wayne's personal history is a well documented, incredible story of childhood abuse and abandonment, extreme poverty, rescue by a loving couple, faith in God, and eventually a #1 Hit on the Country Music Charts.  Jimmy spent much of his youth in and out of foster homes. As a result, foster children and the foster care system has become his passion.  On January 1, 2010, Jimmy decided he not only wanted to "talk the talk", he would "walk the walk", and began a walk from Nashville to Phoenix, Arizona, to raise awareness about the 30,000 youth who age out of the Foster care system each year in America at 18 years young and become homeless.  On April 1, 2010, while walking through Amarillo, Texas, Jimmy rescued a little Chihuahua dog.  He named her "Ruby".  All funds raised during the walk, and since then go to Jimmy's Project Meet Me Halfway, which is administered by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.  100% of the funds raised for Project MMH must go to charitable causes approved by both Jimmy Wayne and the CFMT.

In 2012, the dog bone guys and Jimmy began exploring ways to financially aid Project Meet Me Halfway and The Humane Society of Genesee County.  By combining our diverse talents and passion, we came up with "Ruby's Pet Treats, a website offering pet products for sale. We decided that a portion of every sale will go to both causes.  We are confident that you will find high quality pet treats and other pet items at a competitive price.  If you are satisfied with our products, we hope you will tell your friends about Ruby's Pet Treats.  For more information on Project Meet Me Halfway, please go to JimmyWayne.com.

              Thanks for caring!
